The banns of marriage between James Brindley & Jane Baker were published at St Luke's Anglican Church,Cannock 6th, 13& 20 Nov 1791 by J Rudd Curate prior to the marriage of James Brindley, bachelor, and Jane Baker, spinster, both of Cheslyn Hay on 12 Dec 1791. They were  married in the presence of Samuel Whitehouse and Thomas Byrch. Groom, bride and Samuel Whitehouse made their mark. Thomas Byrch signed his name.
James, the eldest of the four children of Robert Brindley and Elizabeth Wheate was baptised 24 March 1771 at Norton Canes in the parish of St Michael & All Angels, Pelsall. He was buried at Newbury 22 Apr 1822. Jane was born Abt 1774 and was buried at Newbury 21 October 1820.

It is seven years since you posted your request about Lucy Southall so you may have the following information.
Lucy Southall born c 1853 was the fourth child, second daughter of Richard Southall baptised at Whittington 1821 and Emma Dilkes baptised Pelsall 1826. The 1871 census may record her birthplace as Pelsall but in 1861 census all Richard and Emma’s children were born at Walsall Wood.
Richard Southall is the half brother of my great-great grandfather.

William John Speed born 1760, arrived Sydney per Anne 2 in February 1810, was my 4 X great grandfather. I have spent many years researching William and his family and am willing to share my information with you.
