Yes, I ordered the marriage cert on ancestry but it never arrived so had to request refund and buy elsewhere - am awaiting it's arrival.
The 1841 Census shows other James Averys but none in or from the Lyng area, I've made contact with tree owners but no replies. V.frustrating.
I've never found the Clifford tree either, did search after you told me about it but to no avail, so concluded that it's prob been deleted or I'm being a typical blond looking in the wrong place!
Hey ho, I'll wait for the certificate but am desperate to find out more, especially as rumour has it that James was linked to Captain Avery/Every, a ruthless pirate!
