Yorkshire (West Riding) / Gt. Gt. Grandfather Burial Mystery

I have been searching to try and pin point the burial location of my Gt.Gt. Grandfather however unable to even locate the area.

William Green died 7th April 1882, Age 49 at Florence buildings, Deepcar, where I believe he was living.
I know he was married in January 1880 to Rachel Rogers at Penistone St.Johns and the 1881 Census shows residence in Carlcoates, Thurlstone. That sums up basically all I can find out about him.

I have emailed Barnsley Archives as I was wondering if Newspapers might shed some light but struggling to work out my best option.

I would be most grateful for any advice

Many Thanks Chris

Staffordshire Lookup Requests / Baptisms in Upper Gornal
« on: Monday 19 January 15 21:06 GMT (UK)  »
I'm trying to locate any baptismal dates for the children of John and Harriet Rogers, living in 'Jews Lane' in 1841 & 'Pale Peice' in 1851, Upper Gornal. Their children are Elizabeth; b 1839, Maria; b 1841, Thomas; b 1843, Sarah; b 1845, Rachel; b 1847, Mary Ann;  b 1850, and Eliza; b 1855.  Have been trying to locate the records of St. Peters and other local churches but having very little luck online.
If anyone could help to shed some light, I'd be very grateful.

Regards Chris

HI Anthony, I remember you well. I've been so busy not had the time to get on here. We need to get back in touch for sure. I have much I can help with and will be in contact soon.

I see dawn made a comment but obviously wouldn't know your Aunty Frances was my grand mother, whow is sadly no longer with us. Bless her
