So let me try to understand here. Are there 2 Charles married to Marie Picot? One father of John b1823 and Charles b1815, and another father of Charles b1791.

The Charles born in 1791 married a girl with the same name as his mother, or Am I missing something?

It's IGI and has mistakes if you look at siblings. There seems to be 2 generation confusion on the site.

PS: Charles and Marie Machon also have a Jean in their family but was born in 1817.

For Charles Blampied and Rachel in Trinity (Cross Village, perhaps). Their first son was born around 1835 according to the 1841 and 1851 census.

I have a strong feeling it might be the on in Les Croix.

Now I have to find Rachel's Maiden name. Their son Charles was 5 in 1841 and 15 in 1851. So their marriage must have been around 1835.
