Sorry, I missed that post! :-[  So there were two CARR/EASDEN marriages which would account for the number of CARR/EASDEN births in the GRO Index.  Found these between 1837 and 1840:

Qtr4 1837   David CARR, maiden name EASDEN (this is a son of George/Eliza, see below)
Qtr3 1838 William CARR, maiden name EASDEN (this is a son of John/Sophia, see below)
Qtr4 1838   William CARR, maiden name CANNON (this is a son of Joseph/Ann)
Qtr4 1840  William CARR, maiden name EASDON (this is a son of George/Eliza, see below)

1841 Census - Park Lane, West Wycombe
George CARR  25  Sawyer
Eliza CARR      25  Lace maker
David CARR      3
William CARR    1
                                     All born in County

1841 Census - Lane End, parish of Great Marlow
John CARR     35    Ag Lab
Sophia CARR  35
Emma CARR   15
James CARR   13
Eliza CARR     10
Martha CARR   8
George CARR   5
William CARR   2                                 All born in County

Are you following the Quartermaines of Rycot by chance?

My QUARTERMAINs are from Garsington, Oxfordshire and I can trace them back to around 1640.  I suspect that the family were originally from Chalgrove but have not found a link (yet!).

The Rycote QUARTERMAYNs (Richard and Sybyl) did not have any children so that branch died out.

How does the mmn Easden go with Carr, if his wife was a Cannon.

There are no children with a mother's maiden name of EASDEN belonging to Joseph CARR.  There are, however, a number of CARR children with a mother's maiden name of EASDEN in the GRO Birth Index and I believe that these belong to George CARR, bachelor, and Eliza HESDIN, spinster, who married at Great Marlow on 26 Sep 1836.  The marriage was witnessed by Thomas GRAY and Elizabeth CARR.  Although Eliza's name is recorded as HESDIN in her marriage entry it is recorded as EASDEN when she and George CARR witnessed the marriage of Richard FORTNOR and Rebecca CARR.

Carr household.. 1851
The children are 3x Wheeler mmn Mullett ages 13,11,8yrs..
and 2x Carr mmn Easdon. 12 and 9yrs..

The three WHEELER children are Sarah's from her first marriage to Robert WHEELER.  They were baptised at Holy Trinity Church High Wycombe as follows:

13 Aug 1837  Harriet dau of Robert and Sarah WHEELER
13 Oct 1839  Henry son of Robert and Sarah WHEELER
17 Jul 1842  Elizabeth dau of Robert and Sarah WHEELER

The two CARR children are Joseph CARR's children from his first marriage to Ann CANNON.  GRO entries as follows:

Qtr4 1838 Wycombe Union Vol 6 Page 366 - William CARR (mother's maiden name CANNON)
Qtr3 1841 Wycombe Union Vol 6 Page 397 - Ann CARR (mother's maiden name ED.... )

I think the maiden name given in Ann's birth entry is an error.  Her baptism is recorded in High Wycombe Wesleyan Methodist Circuit:

26 Aug 1841 Ann dau of Joseph and Ann CARR of High Wycombe, aged 4 weeks

I have not found a baptism for William CARR.  There is one other birth entry in the GRO Index:

Qtr4 1843 Wycombe Union Vol 6 Page 422 - Joseph CARR (mother's maiden name CANNON)

This child died the following year and his burial is recorded at Holy Trinity Church High Wycombe:
10 Oct 1844 Joseph CARR aged 1 year

Buckinghamshire / Re: Sarah Walker of Booker or West Wycombe dob c.1826/27
« on: Friday 11 September 20 23:28 BST (UK)  »
Familysearch has the baptism of Sally (a diminutive of Sarah) the daughter of William and Mary WALKER at West Wycombe on 14 May 1826.  Her parents may be the William WALKER and Mary BURGIN who married at West Wycombe on 15 October 1803.

Sarah WALKER aged 14 appears in the 1841 census at Booker together with a widowed Mary WALKER aged 55, Charlotte WALKER aged 26 and Eliza WALKER aged 19.

Buckinghamshire Lookup Requests / Re: Thomas PUSEY and Thomas ELMES 1851 to 1881
« on: Wednesday 01 March 17 14:50 GMT (UK)  »
Hi
I am revisiting the relationship of Thomas PUSEY born 1843 and Thomas ELMES/ELMS born 1834. They are both born in Farnham Royal. I think that their mothers may be sisters and therefore they are cousins like it is written in the 1881 English census.

It seems that Thomas PUSEY and Thomas ELM(E)S were indeed cousins - their respective mothers being daughters of Henry and Jane ALMON(D).  Mary Ann, the mother of Thomas ELM(E)S, was baptised at Burnham, Bucks on 9 June 1811, and Lucy, the mother of Thomas PUSEY, was baptised at Burnham on 20 March 1814.

The surname ALMOND provides some interesting variations owing to the 'L' usually being pronounced as an 'R' and the 'D' at the end often being silent.  This being so it was no surprise to find that Mary's surname is given as ARMAN upon her marriage to Edward ELMS on 22 October 1831 at Farnham Royal, Bucks.  Lucy's surname is given as ANNON in the GRO Index when she married Thomas PUSEY (Windsor Registration District Apr/May/June Qtr 1843).

Mary Ann and Lucy's parents MAY be the Henry ALMON and Jane TAYLOR who married at Burnham, Bucks on 3 Nov 1792.  However, I can only find the following children - James bp 14 Sep 1800 (as HARMON), Charles bp 14 Nov 1802, George bp 27 Apr 1806, Lydia bp 31 Mar 1808, Mary Ann bp 9 Jun 1811 and Lucy bp 20 Mar 1814 (the last five all baptised as ALMON or ALMOND).  It would be unusual for there to be no children of a marriage for almost eight years so perhaps there were some baptised elsewhere.

Buckinghamshire / Re: Where did Richard Fenn senior live in 1705
« on: Thursday 03 March 16 15:27 GMT (UK)  »
Hello again Westy.

Richard FENN Senior's residence in 1705 is definitely Ivinghoe, Bucks.  FENNs appear in the Ivinghoe parish registers as early as the 1500s and include the following baptism:

29 Oct 1675  Richard son of Richard FENN

The above person may be the Richard who married in 1705.
