Hello you are great people with all the help you have given me on this one.  Whenever I visited Wexford, I would go to the Harpur grave which is L 207.  I brought dads ashes over some years ago and that’s were I hope to finish whenever the big man is ready for me.  With the new information I at least know where to look or get my family to look for me on their visits as I can no longer travel myself..  Thanks  again, Anne

Thank you, that information on Mary Anne has answered another question.  Neither of the sisters is shown on 1901 census so I assumed they had married. I have just about given up with the Walsh family when someone sends me a glimmer of hope and I am off again.   Thank you so much.

Hello all.  I have been away from site for some time but today i dipped in and found these messages re Castlehill Street.  my Walsh family have always given me problems as Gt.grandad John Walsh married Mary Furlong two of the more popular names in the town.  In 1901 they were shown at 1 Castlehill Street having moved from King street a couple of years before and that is why i became hopeful when i read the latest post.   I can find no trace of them in the 1911 census but know that son William died there in 1905.  I have tried DNA but so far the only Walsh to contact me lives in Newfoundland with no knowledge of Wexford so I am hoping for a connection this time.  Fingers crossed  Anne

Hi, sorry but brain is getting a bit puddled these days.  I couldn’t remember who gave the photos and information on the house in census.  I think what made me think the death certificate I had sent for was wrong because of informants name, Kate Walsh.  Finally remembered Williams brother Jim married a Mary Anne Walsh from Paradise Row so Kate must have been her sister.  Just hope William is in same plot as his parents and that way I get mor info on them.  Determined to sort out my Walsh lot before brain stops working altogether.  Thanks again for your help, Anne.

Hi.  Once again I am on the ‘find my Walsh family’ trail.  My grandfather’s brother William died 1st quarter 1905.  I did send for the record but thought it was wrong one as he lived in Castlehill Street and record said The Swan so I thought I had wrong Walsh.  I am hoping someone has access to death records and I can perhaps find burial record once I have correct date of death.  Perhaps Williams burial place will lead me to my gt.grand parents records.  Here’s hoping, Anne.

My sister said she thought there might a be a Thomas but nothing for sure.  I have left message for Wexflyer so fingers crossed.  Most annoying thing is that grandad and gran lived with us but I think he had a falling out just after they were married and thought gran went back to visit Wexford with mum and her sister, grandad didn't go with them.  Wish I had asked more about his side but hindsight is a great thing.  We had so many O'Rourkess and Harpurs that I didn't miss the Walsh side.  Hey ho.

Perhaps husband became a photographer later in life.  Anyway I am giving up for now but no doubt I will be back.
