Anyone currently living in Pennant Saskatchewan, please respond to a request
for information on a John A. McLeod and his wife Stella.  This couple
settled and were farming in the Pennant Saskatchewan area during the 1950s
and earlier.  As far as I know, they had no children, but I am one of only 2 grand
nephews through our maternal grandmother named Anna May White (nee McLeod).
I would appreciate learning more about their lives, as they came from Nottawa
Ontario during the times of a $1-an-acre government incentive to farm the Prairies.
I have photographs and letters kept by my deceased mother, but need to fill in
some gaps...dealing with land titiles, wills, investments, and inheritance.

I have discovered a 1901 census connection already, as an uncle.
I would like to trace back even more, if possible. The photo attached
is possibly my uncle cc 1901.

It's interesting that you are seeking INFORMATION about my grandfather Fred.
What is/are the reason(s) for your searches? 

I have only learned today about my unknown uncle Robert (my father's brother it seems), whom I have no recollection of meeting, yet  now know he might be a "Bob Billimore" who was a pallbearer at his mother's funeral (Alice Martha Mills). Interesting eh?  I have been to her  gravesite over the years, along with her husband Frederick Archibald Power's site, and  their infant son Willy.   These graves are in New Westminster, BC Canada, where I was born.
 
(my father) Son of Fred and Alice was Arthur Herbert Power DOB Jan. 26, 1915.
I am the only direct "Power" relative surviving.....so this all is very awesome.

I am the paternal grandson of Frederick Archibald Power and Alice Martha Mills who both died in New Westminster British Columbia, Canada.  I have a scanned image of their obituaries.  Their son Arthur Herbert Power was my father, who was born in Prince Albert Saskatchewan, Canada.  Further information is available upon request for  Jacquie and crozier.
