« on: Friday 04 June 10 20:52 BST (UK)  »
Hi all,
I have recently checked the 1901 census and i think my G grandfather attended this school .
St Kevins Reformatory School Glencree Co Wicklow.
Please could some one advise about what type of school this would be and the reason he could have been there?
Many thanks Pat

Hi All
It also doesn't help that so many people seem to change there given birth names, last year i was on holiday in Dublin trying to find my grandmother Bridget's birth, everyone new her as Bridget, but after visiting the Irish life centre i found that she was born as Susan,on her birth cert it said she was baptised Bridget when she was in her 60's,

Hi Anne
it just puzzles me why this happens ,an ideal example is on the civil marriage cert it says Timothy Shea married Catherine Sullivan but on the parish record it has her name down as Mary Sullivan
so this does not make it any easier
