Derry (Londonderry) / Re: Longtower burial records

Long Tower Church has 3 or 4 small cemeteries.  They closed long time ago.  I have been in some of them but unable to find headstone due to landslide long time ago.  Lot of the  headstones buried under grass or broken. The gates are kept locked and permission is needed to enter. But I do know my ancestor is buried there and roughly the location.
If you contact office @ City Cemetery they can maybe assist you as they helped  me in the past.

Killea cemetery is out the Letterkenny Road. It is no longer in use.  It was used for different religions.

RE Limerick Archives.

Got great response from www.limerickcity.ie
Requested actual copies of 1901 & 1911 census for my ancestors. Cost 5euro. Very reasonable considering fees for other sites..email: info[at]Limerickcity.ie

Hello Sarah,

The site you posted isn't working for me either. I had a look, using Google, to see what I could find about Limerick archives and found a link for Limerick City Archives: Collections Database http://la.cslhost.com/archon

It looks as though this may be the one you heard about on the radio. The About section says that Limerick City Archives is part of Limerick City Council and holds a large collection of archive collections relating to Limerick City Council and to the commercial and cultural life of Limerick City. Limerick City Archives aims to collect preserve and make available to the public, collections of archives which document and reflect all aspects of life in Limerick.
