Hi again,
Sorry about the delay.
My family definately have Killinchy connexions. I visited there in the summer and hit a brick wall around 1850. There are Hayes connexions as well, but I can't yet find out if there is a link.
I am going to get a professional geneologist on the job so will keep you informed. I was born and educated in Downpatrick where there is a big Lowry connexion.
Regards
Cecil Lowry

Can anyone help with my research. I have managed to get back to the early 1800s and to a gg grandfather James Lowry who attended Killinchy NS Presb Church.

Don't know if this is of any help, or indeed in any way linked to the Lowry's you are looking for. My family are from County Down. My great grandfather was called James Lowy (born 1845) and grandmother Mary Ann Lowry (nee Keown).
Let me know as I can supply information about the County Down Lowrys who were all NS Presbyterians.
