Cheshire Lookup Requests / Re: St John's, Chester Monumental Inscriptions

Hello marthaannie

Thanks ever so much for that information and for your efforts on my behalf. I'll try and find out whether there is a gravestone to photograph. In answer to your question, I don't know why Ann's husband, John is buried at Overleigh. I'd wondered about that myself. Once again, thanks for what you've done.

Regards

Hi challo

That's a pity but many thanks for your efforts anyway. I'll have a look at the website you suggested.

Cheshire / Flaybrick Cemetery - Birkenhead

Is there anyone able to visit Flaybrick Cemetery to take a look for my great great grandfather's gravestone and note down the inscription and if possible take a photo. His name was Charles Edwin Bird and he died 23 August 1881. The grave is in Section 8 Plot 735. Many thanks.

Staffordshire Lookup Requests / Marriage in Stowe-by-Chartley in 1770
« on: Tuesday 23 July 13 13:15 BST (UK)  »
Is there anyone, with access to the parish records, who can assist me with the details of a marriage in Stowe-by-Chartley in 1770?

The information I have, and which I should like checking, is that the marriage took place on 2 February 1770 with the groom Aaron Rock and the bride Mary Talbert. Any information recorded in the parish register would be of interest.

Many thanks

Can anyone visiting the Cheshire Record Office find the time to do a look up for me please.

I understand that the MIs for St John's, Chester have been transcribed.

I am looking for an entry for Angonetta Massey d 4 Oct 1854, her husband, John Massey d 16 Feb 1855. Four of their children died before reaching their first birthday, Ann d 1799, Thomas d 1801, Eliza d 1806 and Edward d 1810. Sometimes Angonetta called herself Ann.

If time permits, is there anything for Samuel Massey d 6 Apr 1859 or his wife, Mary Hannah Massey d 16 Mar 1864.

Many thanks in advance

Mike (Marsh)
