Thanks for the info , will make some enquiries about a Diary . Interesting again on the Msubs web page he’s been left off the roll of honour for that Sub.

Thanks for that, seen that a few years ago but again just a brief mention of Morris . Nothing on how and where the sub was when he died .

Looking for info on an incident that happened on Submarine E15 on 28 November 1914. George Joseph Morris died, not I think from enemy action but from being left on deck when the Submarine dived.
I suppose the best place  to start was the Submarine museum at Gosport but they do not have the function to research. He is on the memorial wall at the museum though.
Plenty of History on submarine E15 is available on line as crew died when it was at Gallipoli but nothing about my GG Uncle .
I would just like to find out the circumstances and location of his death, why was he on deck when the Sub dived, if indeed if that’s what really happened.
Thanks Roy

From last nights TV about the man that stole the World Cup , I can’t find his death recorded.
Born and lived in South London, Walworth. I knew the man so would like to know more about him .
Thanks Roy

Thanks Josey, that’s a good point about the death of her husband and the solicitors. So maybe the Hove/Brighton connection is where she was tracked down to.
Thought that the Solicitor maybe tracking her down about her son she had before her marriage to Albert Spear. She was a servant in a grand house in Chelsea so say no more. The boy was brought up by others and financed by that family .
Sorry no exact DOB for Sarah .
