As someone who lives in St Helens and has done all my life  plus family been here since 1690.  I do think I know a little about the place.

My grandmother's name was marion atherton lyon; her father was elias lyon, director of peasley glass works. I have some old metal photographs in poor condition of people who are unidentified.
I am starting to investigate, and would appreciate any pointers as to images or information re; peasley glass works. [ "A Mersey Town in the Industrial Revolution" gives info on p 450 approx]
