I can't make a connection to any of the names that have been mentioned in this discussion but the all of the family names Longstaff, Barrass and Bell occur in my family history. I am a Longstaff so that name tends to dominate what I have collected thus far but if we can find some common ancestors each of us can expand the range of our knowledge of our history.
