My Grandfather John McCallum died (1958) in the Salvation Army Hostel in Whitechapel Road, Stepney, London. Does anyone know where he would have been buried?

Sorry it was 1820 he was born. His birth cert was just a line in a register with his name and his fathers name.

Hi, My Great Great Grandfather was Neil Ward we think he was born in Donegal in 1920. His father was Patrick Ward. Neil went to Scotland and worked in the mines and was killed in the first major disaster in Scotland at one of the Dixon pits in Blantyre.
Does anyone know anything about the above family in Ireland?
Long shot but you never know.
Thanks
John

Hi,  My family had been told my grandfather went to South Africa and never returned. I have found a record :-

John McCallum Brass Moulder from Dumbarton Road, Govan arriving back in Southampton in 1929.

His mother and father were still living in Dumbarton Road in 1929.

Don't know were he went after his arrival.  He may have married again or left the UK. Anyone got any ideas?

Hi,  I have a great grandmother Bridget McHugh born 1864 to Edward and Maria ( Phillips ) in Geevagh Parish County Sligo.

She moved to Scotland and married James Gilhooly.

Could they be related
