Greetings from Michigan!

Thank you for your reply. Yes, Grandmother is actually 91 now. I have shared with her that I have been contacted by a cousin in Scotland. She is very emotional about her country and Scottish people in general, and we are as well. My entire life I remember always being at parades, and when the bagpipers came through, she would start crying and need to go to the car. It's that sentimental connection, and I get that, and it is passed on to us as well.

I have documents, photos, and information to share as well. I am not certain of the rules here, but I am going to attempt to you my e-mail address,

I am so looking forward to seeing a photo of Uncle William, I am very curious if he looks like my Great Grandfather, Hay , beings they are brothers. He was very short in stature, but very musically inclined. Please let Susan know that it sounds like maybe she is my Mom's age, she was born in 1941. They would be 2nd or 3rd cousins?

Look forward to your next reply!

Becky

I am happy with tears to receive your email.
It was my Great Grandfather, Hay Logan, that first came to the USA, and then my Great Grandmother, Helen (Nellie) came with their four children: Agnes (Nan), Nellie, Harry, & the youngest, my Grandmother Margaret, who is still living.
Yes, they settled in Saginaw, but within a few years of their arrival, they were struck with one tragedy after another.
My Grandmother, Margaret  was told that her Father's family disowned him because he left Scotland, and it was a forbidden subject. So until I started my research, we knew nothing about Grandfather Hay's family.
I will look forward to hearing from Susan, and sharing photos and documents.
Sincerely, Becky

I cannot thank you enough, and I cannot express how much your information means to our family and most importantly to my 87 year old Grandmother. With your help, this is the first time ever that she has seen a photo of her Grandfather.

Would it be possible  to  advise me how we can obtain further photos and information.

My Grandmother is the only one still living and she was only a year old when she came to the United States. By the time she was 19, her entire family had passed on, so we do not have much information.

Thank you again. The Logan and Richmond family

I am looking at my Great Grandmother's passport, and trying to locate relatives. She was born Helen Richmond born in Aberdeen on February 7, 1885 or 86, born to Agnes Richmond (born 1860) Her sister was named  (Maggie)Richmond, born in 1896, she married Peter Wilson.
Helen (Nellie) married Hay Logan, he was born in 1883. They had 4 children Agnes (Nan), Helen (Nellie), Harry, and my Grandmother Margaret. They came to the United States in 1923.
Their last know address was Crown Terrace in Partick.

I also have an old photo of Hay Logan and others in front of a business called VALENTINES ENGINEERING & MOTOR HIRING DEPOT. This photos would have to be between 1900-1920. Any information anyone would have any information, that would be great!!!
