Hi Seekerone
Yes they were. Their mum Emily Hill Farrell Mack was married to John Farrells father Thomas and then to Samuels father also Thomas after Thomas Farrell died.

Hi Eadaoin
Would you be able to look up those registers for the Mack surname? I have the 1939/40 listing and it confirmed most address I knew but anything prior or after this would be great. If you can that is?
Thanks a mill.

Wicklow / Shoemakers Shop Bray 1930's
« on: Sunday 04 January 09 19:43 GMT (UK)  »
Hi
Im trying to find records of a Shoemakers in Bray. It was owned/ran by a Samuel MACK and a John FARRELL and we were told it was on Main St and called Central Boot and Leather Store. This may not be exact as the info was from a very old relative. Although all his other info was perfect.

Any guidance as to where Id start would be great.
Thanks
Mack

Dublin / Re: MACK Family info- Dublin

I did, I only came across it on Thursday.
I didnt manage to download the thing to open it fully but even the basic info shows exactly where my grandparents were living at that time. Grandfather was not listed as in same house as grandmother(strange) but great information none the less.It also showed me who a couple of the other MACKs married. This new info has got me hooked again.

Hi Bridget
I have a similar problem. I have a photo of my Grandfather Samuel MACK outside the Shoe makers shop he had with his brother John FARRELL abt 1930ish . We are not sure where it is as a relative said Main St Bray but someone else said dublin city. We also had the name Central Boot and Leather Store mentioned but cant find any only in Cork. I am going to try and upload the picture as that was a great idea.
I will also have a look for your family.
Thanks

Thanks for such a quick reply. Im going to try and see if any of those listed were related in any way and owned the shop etc. Im not 100% sure it was in Bray so its a fairly wide scope I have to cover. But all guidance is much appreciated.  :)
