Antrim / Re: Clements of Headwood Kilwaughter
« on: Saturday 10 August 24 15:25 BST (UK)  »
Hi I'm new to the conversation. I too am looking for a James Clements connected to this family. He had a son Daniel born around 1940's in Antrim. Doesn't specify if it's County Antrim or Antrim town. I have DNA matches connecting me to this family and records connecting me to Daniel. But I need to find his father James to pull the whole thing together.
   Hello Tissa55.
I'd be interested in hearing more details about your James Clements.  What was his date of birth if you don't mind me asking?

Suffolk Lookup Requests / All Saints Ashbocking STRANGE and BRUNNING
« on: Monday 24 June 24 16:56 BST (UK)  »
Hello,
Would anyone have access to the parish record of the marriage of Richard Strange and Mary Brunning 1798?  I have only found the marriage index and have been waiting for the online record, but so far not this parish.  My hope is to find more on Richard's residence as I assume Ashbocking would have been Mary's.  Regards, CL

Philip,
I must have missed your last couple of messages. Good to hear more from you.  I'll send you a PM as we are definitely the same family of McLeans.

Welcome to the group Philip.  Have you tested your DNA? Briangr and I have corresponded since my earlier post and we have met several McLeans along the way.

Cardiganshire Lookup Requests / Re: Llanbadarn Upper

Thank you both for your links to more detailed information. It explains their sister's claim that she was born Cross Inn.  I'm still wondering though if referencing Llanbadarn Upper as a birth place is also correct.

Cardiganshire Lookup Requests / Llanbadarn Upper
« on: Friday 03 February 23 00:11 GMT (UK)  »
Hello;
I hope someone can help with this location in Cardiganshire.  I believe I may have found the two spinster cousins in the 1921 Census my grandfather visited in Wales in 1915.  They were born at Gorslwyd Farm, Llanbadarn Trefeglwys, Aberayron reg. district and recorded Llanbadarn Upper as their places of birth in the Census. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Suffolk / Re: Dinah Berry buried Wickham Skeith
« on: Sunday 28 November 21 19:29 GMT (UK)  »
Thank you Dulverton for your list of marriages and I apologize for my late reply.  I'm revisiting the details I used for my original query about Dinah Berry. I believe I can now put some pieces together in terms of the parishes in the triangle you also mentioned. I think I have it all in better perspective.
I hope you are still out there as your post was some time ago.
Best Wishes,
CL

Thank you Rosie, I did just find this burial too.  No wonder he could not be located in 1841.  Thank you to everyone who posted a response so quickly also. Much appreciated.

Gloucestershire / John Walcott Emerson
« on: Sunday 08 March 20 14:40 GMT (UK)  »
Hello,
I am wondering if anyone has this fellow in their line.  He was born 1816 Bristol; parents James Emerson and Mary Walcott. I can't find him in 1841, but it looks like he may have died in St Saviour Southwark in 1846.  His age here isn't quite accurate either, but can't find a previous death to rule this one out.
Regards,
CL
