Thank you all!

Thomas...do you know of the Hoban family from there?  I was in Capparanny in May and I was told they haven't been there for years but that they did know of them...so i was wondering if you do?

Hi,

I have just found this...

Rev. Gerry Needham, C.C.
Parochial House,
Parke,
Castlebar,
Co. Mayo.
(093)35448

It appears Rev. Karl Burns is in Galway not Mayo....not sure if this info is old!

Sorry i wasn't being funny.

I'm just not sure if its called The Church of the Holy family or the Holy Family church - if there is any difference.

The parish is Turlough/Parke RC and I have seen the church down as just the RC Chapel Parke on some message boards so i am a bit confused.

Thank you!  Sorry I didn't make myself clear...

I want someone to confirm the name of the church so I can then try to find out the address so i can write to the Parish Priest.

Hello,

Can anyone tell me the Catholic Church that Capparanny would come under?

I think its The Holy Family Church, but i'm not sure.

Many thanks

DympJoyce,

You're very kind; thank you for all your help.

Another questions (sorry!) is there a list of those who are buried in the graveyard by the tower as when I was there at the beginning of May I couldn't read all the headstones.

Many thanks

Could anyone shed any light on where this place might be:

Cullannin - it is in the address section of a marriage record for my gt gt grandfather Pat Hoban.

Many thanks

Many thanks.

Another thing; is there a cemetary connected to that Church as this might explain where Patt is burried.
