Thanks,

I did email them. They have confirmed that they need the names of BOTH parties to search, I only have the name of one party.

They also mentioned the possibility of looking it up on fiche in a library. Does anyone know if some libraries have the indexes on fiche up to the present day?

Also, does anyone know if the UK office can do searches?

Hi,

Does anyone know an email address I can use to contact them about a search, I need to know fees etc.

I can only find phone and postal contacts on their website.

On a related note, does anyone know what they charge for searches. I am looking for a recent marriage, but I don't have a date.

Thanks

Nicola

Hi Nina,

I will try to get to the cemetery on Friday, provided the weather is co-operative! I will enquire at the office if staff are available.

Best wishes

Nicola

Hi Nina,

I live quite near the cemetery and I have been meaning to visit. I would be happy to look for the grave and photograph it while I'm there.

Let me know if you receive the map showing the grave location

Regards

Nicola

In the 1911 census Alexander Cunningham Ryan's wife Beatrice (born Pickford) is living with her widowed mother in Plymouth, I wonder what happened to her?

Essex / Re: Aylens in Essex

The Kelvedon (there is a John and Eliza from Kelvedon with Thomas as father) and Stock (there is a brickmaker called John from Stock) families looked promising but I have not found a Robert of the correct age.

Family search has a Thomas Allin marriage in Halstead 1798.

Sorry not to find any answers, if I spot any Thomas Aylen marriages I will let you know.
