The information I have is that

George Bell Married Elizabeth Ingham Newark 1849.

1851 census living Clarbourgh/Retford  George Bell born Ordsall age 33 Wife Elizabeth Born Newark age 33 Daughter Mary Ann born Retford age 1 month.
1861  census living Sheffield George Bell born Ordsall age 43 Wife Elizabeth born Newark age 46
Son William Henry born Retford age 8.

The thinking now is that Mary Ann died in Sheffield between 1851 and 1861 and that the Mary Ann
living with Robert and Harriet is a"red herring".

Will probably have to pursue this on the Yorkshire board.

Thanks again everyone for their help.

Thank you everybody for all your input.

It has all thrown up as many questions as answers.  I may have to look again at some of the information I have regards George Bell born 1818 Ordsall son of Jonathon Bell and Ann White.
That is did he marry Elizabeth Ingham or Elizabeth Vallance.

Thanks again everybody for the information and offers of help.

Hello Vimto and Millipede,

Thank you very much for your replies.

I did not say but I think she was born East Retford or Ordsall,  so I don't think the John Butler marriage fits as her place of birth is given as Southwell.

Kaycee

Hello Wesley John,

don't know if you received my personal message or not.

My mother Elsie used to correspond with Evelyn when they were both younger. My mother has a number of photographs of your family, I have attached a few you may be interested in.
One has Henry written on the back, One Henry and Carm and one Marlene.
