« on: Thursday 06 January 11 13:33 GMT (UK) »Hi Chrissie,Hi Molly,
Hope you don't mind me jumping on the bandwagon but I briefly visited St Peter's in Ince on Sat (I see what you mean by Shell Oil-it's a real shame). I was looking for any Percival graves but because of the long grass I had to beat a retreat and will bring my wellies next time!
More specifically, my ancestor William Percival was born in Ince in 1821 and was the son of George and Jane Pericival. He married Mary Davies at St Peter's in 1841-I can provide more info tomorrow but my notes have been left at home. William and Mary then moved to Ellesmere Port where he worked as a Porter before running the Whitby Tavern for some years.
Any help much appreciated.
Molly
