He was buried in Sheepy Road Cemetery, Atherstone   Grave no O 0360. I can pop round & check for a headstone if you wish. His 3 baby sons lie nearby.

Warwickshire Completed Lookup Requests / Re: Holloway Travelling Theatre Company.

I am not connected to the Holloway family but thought that those of you that are would like to know where Annie & Horace Holloway are buried.
Annie died 12 March, 1936 in Atherstone aged 65
Horace died 14 Aug 1946 at Chase Terrace, Chase Town aged 76.
They are buried in a double sized grave with an angel standing guard.
Grave number N 0530, Sheepy Road Cemetery, Atherstone. Warwickshire.
There is another family member with them but from memory I can't remember. Will check.

Fingers crossed here that you can help.

Check their opening times before you go. Ithink they are closed the first week in any month.
And take 2 pieces of proofs of identity with you for them to issue a readers ticket.

Nuneaton & North Warwickshire Family History Society covers this area. Their web site has lots of info and members who can help.

Many thanks for the quick response. Perhaps a later researcher may be able to take advantage of our combined knowledge & resources?

A neice & nephew of my Gt gt grandfather, first cousins, married and went to South Island, NZ in 1859 on the ' Mermaid'
They were George Washington McGow and Wilhemina Hunter. (Mina)
A Google for George gives a potted biography as an early settler.  They had a large family, using the same family names as we used back then- Agnes, Helen, Davison, Hunter etc.
I would like to know if they were buried in Invercagill and if anyone there is researching this family & would like to share the history of this family pre-1859 in Scotland.

Warwickshire / Re: atherstone burials

Nuneaton & North Warwickshire Family History Society have recently produced a CD titled  'Buried in Atherstone'      Details on their web site.
However, are you using info of where Henry's death was registered?   Atherstone Registration District covers many villages where he could have been buried so the Atherstone burials CD will not be of use to you.
