Sutherland / Mackenzie family

I have a Colin Mackenzie born abt. 1840 in Assynt. I believe his father is Duncan Mackenzie born 1791 in Lairg who married Anne Mackenzie on 29 Dec 1818 in Assynt. His father I believe was Duncan Mackenzie born abt. 1768.
I believe his father was possibly Hugh Mackenzie who married Isabel Gilmore Sept 22 1755.
Can anyone verify the above please?

Nottinghamshire / John Greaves
« on: Thursday 21 October 10 19:18 BST (UK)  »
John Greaves was the son of John & Elizabeth Greaves and baptised at Misterton on 4th Dec 1757.
I believe he may have died on the same day.
Can anyone please verify this?
Also, Elizabeth Greaves married Thomas Grime on 25th Nov 1799 at Walkeringham.
Can anyone tell me when she was born and to whom? (possibly born around 1768)

Yorkshire (North Riding) Lookup Requests / Re: Yorkshire Clergy
« on: Tuesday 04 May 10 08:06 BST (UK)  »
My friend  was adopted soon after birth (father unknown). Her birth cert shows her mother to be a Howarth and at the time of birth living in Westminster, London.
Her adopted parents told her she was from Yorkshire and her mother was only 18 years old and her parents were connected with the clergy.
I have traced possible males who could be her great grandfather. These are William, James, John, and Albert Howarth.
My friend who is now 63 years old is trying to find her roots and this is the only information she has, hence we are looking for some connection to the church or chapel.
