Hi,
Hope this is of interest .
This is info from the Marriage Licence Bonds for The Diocese of Down, Connor & Dromore.

Caddel
Judith Ann & William Best 1845

Caddell
Daniel & Essey Archer 1843
Sarah & Robert Mathers 1842
Thomas & Sarah Anne Hanlon 1845

William Caddle made a Poor Law Claim in Lanarkshire in 1913 giving his parents as Thomas & Sarah Hanlon both deceased. Also separated from his wife Julia Murray.

On Mary Callaghans(nee Caddle) Death Certificate in 1906 it gives her parents as Thomas Caddle & Sarah Hanlon.

I have found in the past that Sarah & Elizabeth can be interchangeable as names.
I have done a lot of research on the Caddell families as I descend from Joshua Caddell (in Govan),
Joshuas father was Daniel Caddell & I believe he is the same Daniel shown on the Marriage licence bonds with Thomas & Sarah.
I have also found the name spelt Kittle, Kettle, Caddle, Caddell and Cadle within the same family groups and most recently Kaddle.
Are you related to the Caddells? I am always looking for connections.

Westmeath / Michael Madigan-Coroners Report
« on: Tuesday 21 June 11 18:32 BST (UK)  »
I have a death certificate for a Michael Madigan 10 July 1874. He was aged 16 & Assistant in a StableYard.Cause of Death was given as Apoplexy. The informant of death was Theobald Fetherston H. Coroner for the County of Westmeath.
Is there any way I can find a coroners report or any other method of finding his parents.?

Hi Dav
This is actually my husbands family. I have a lot of information on the Patience tree & can see the connection through Ann & David. I have the Patience line back to Alexander & Margaret Johnstone.
Anything you want to know just ask & I'll see if I can help
