Hi John,
I have just seen your post regarding your Kennedys, my great grandparents were William James Kennedy & Isabella Young.  I haven't really got any further back for a while due to family committments, but your post has stirred me up again.
My William was a listed as a soldier on the marriage cert and his Father a dealer.
Good to hear of someone researching the family as for many years I have never had any contact with anyone interested.

I have Henrys from Derry county who were miners or ag labourers they   moved to Lanarkshire Scotland and married there 1870's.

William.Robert.John.
Also researching Maryann Young.
and Kennedys  of Bovevagh & Lower Cumber,Derry County.
