Dear Cupoflife.

Firstly I would like to say thank you for all your hard work that you have done on my tree. I know  that I would never have found so much information. As I was going through all the information you sent me I thought to myself this is a mine field. I have no idea how you did it I am just very grateful that you did. Everything you found was spot on, even down to Winifredīs husband Murray Taylor. The war record for Murray Taylor was a fantastic read and also to see a photo of him was the icing on the cake. It is wonderful to see where I came from as I have Family all over the world. I myself live in Spain but my family started out in England and Wales.

So thank you once again from Fanta

Australia / Sydenham John Connolly
« on: Thursday 15 August 13 15:56 BST (UK)  »
Hello

I wonder if you can help me. I am looking for any information on Sydenham John Connolly and his family. Sydenham is my 2nd cousin

Sydenham was born in 1887 in Swansea Wales.
His wife is Charlotte Susannah Martin born 1883 Limehouse London. I donīt know what happened to them once they reached Brisbane.

His children.
Sydenham John Connolly was born 1909 Bridgend Glamorgan Wales.
Frank R Connolly born 1912 Tottenham Middlesex England.
Winifred Connoly born 1914 Tottenham Middlesex England.

They all left for Brisbane in 1926 from London.

I know that the son Sydenham John Connolly Married Florence Beatrice Mountford around 1928 in Brisbane. Sydenham would have been about 18 years old. I know nothing about Florence or if they had any children.

I know nothing about Frank once he left the UK. I donīt know if he was married or had children.

I think Winnifred married a Murray Taylor but that is all I know.

Thank you for all your kind help. From Fanta

I knew that Frances and William had two daughters Carole and Sarah but i didn't know about the little boy that died.
I found Frances in Florida in 1930 but nothing after that.

Hi Debbie.
I think you are right about him being a carpenter. I remember that on the 1891 census of England and Wales he was a picture frame maker.
I will also have a look at the one stop shop that you recommended.
Thanks again from Fanta

This is for Karen and Debbie. As i don't know how to post separately. ( Sorry )

I am so grateful for what you have done for me. I am so overwhelmed. For you to have found two marriages for me is amazing.
I have no contact with any relatives in Canada. So maybe this will be a help in finding them.
I only have one distant cousin in America and between the two of us we have been trying to trace our Ancestors.
I have to say it has been an exciting journey for me and with out your help i would never have got this far.
So once again i would like to thank you for all your time and effort. This is a wonderful forum and i am sure that you have helped a lot of people.
Thank you from Fanta

Thank you for your reply and the information of them being in Swansea. I wonder if you may have any other information of them living in Canada after 1901.
Thank you once again from Fanta.

Canada Lookup Request / 1906 or 1911 census look up for the Weldman family
« on: Thursday 11 June 09 17:37 BST (UK)  »
I wonder if any one can help me locating my family on the 1906 or 1911 census.

Sarah Waldman left the UK in 1895 to Nova Scotia with her family.
On the 1901 census they are living in Halifax Nova Scotia as the Weldman family.
After 1901 i canīt find them.

Their names are as follows.
Nathen Weldman born 1859 Russia.(Nathenīs name was Naxcim when he left the UK)
Sarah Weldman born 1865 England or Wales.
Hilda Weldman born 1889 England or Wales.
Daniel Weldman born 1894 England or Wales.
Rebecca Weldman born 1896 Nova Scotia.
David Weldman born 1898 Nova Scotia.
Eva Weldman born 1899 Nova Scotia.
Frances Weldman born 1905 Nova Scotia.
I also heard that they may have changed their name to Woodman. So there are three possibilities that i know of. Maybe thatīs why i canīt find them.
I hope you can help me. Thank you in advance from Fanta
