Ah...  I still couldn't find it but then I chose to "go back to the old search experience" and there it is!

I still can't find it in the "new experience" though?   :-\

Completed Census Requests / Census References

Hi all,

I am quickly getting to the point where I am realising that I should record sources for the information that I am storing in my tree, and I have been looking at how to go about referencing census data.  I have come up with the "census number" "piece number"/"folio number" format, however I have been struggling with how to convert this back to the actual census data if I need to...  I have been using Ancestry to search for the information and I can't find any way of entering this information into the search on there.  Am I being stupid?!  >:(

Thanks in advance for your help - this is really annoying me!  :)

Northumberland Lookup Requests / Christening record look up request

Hi all,

Searching on ancestry for Martha Currey, born 1878 in Newcastle gives a christening record which I can't access.  Could somebody who has access take a look and let me know the information in it?

Thanks  ;)

Family History Beginners Board / Re: Difficult to read census

Thanks for all your help - if you would like to look at the census itself it is Timothy Comerford (20), Mary Ellen Comerford (25) and Joseph Comerford (17) in the 1901 census, Kirkdale, Liverpool.

Hi,

Would anybody be able to suggest what these census occupation entries are?  They were 3 siblings in their mid twenties living together in 1901 in Kirkdale Liverpool after the death of their parents if that helps.

Thanks,
Martin

Thanks again for all of your help.  I think I will try and book time at my local LDS centre and take a look at the microfilm.

Ireland / The Royal Irish Constabulary Look up Request

I have recently been doing some research on a Laurence Patrick Sheahan born 1888 in Ireland.  I have managed to find his marriage in 1914 in Marylebone London using ancestry.co.uk, however nothing else.  I believe that he came over from Ireland to London and got married, then went back to Ireland before finally moving to the Liverpool area.

Anyway, a global search on Ancestry does show that they have an Irish Constabulary record for a Laurence P Sheahan which I can't view without upgrading my account.  Would anybody who has access to these records mind looking at it for me on the off chance that it is the person I am looking for?

Thanks in advance :)
