May I be very cheeky, please, and ask for another translation?
It's more complicated...
I've done what I can using Brooke Westcott's book & some guess work but, as you can see, not very successfully...

Apologies for the delay in seeing this.
Thank you VERY much - even these small corrections impart knowledge & (of course) more questions, in this case re: Dowry's

Thank you for that confirmation!

I am looking at IPMs for Co. Down at
https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=WUepqE-K4PAC

if you search for 'sect cur' there are 9 instances - the ones I am interested in are for Christopher Russell & Bernard Ward.

I think I have worked out most of the translations -

Page 25: [Down]
(42)   Ib eod die [5 Sept 1633]
BERNARD WARD, in vita qua, seis' fuit de vil' & ter' de Carrickshanagh al' Castleward in co Downe, contin' 100 acr' - Sic inde seis' fid'[?] Bernard obiit 12 Sept' 1584. - Nic' Ward, ejus fil' & her', tunc fuit plen' etat', et maritat. pmiss tenent' de Geo' nunc com Kildar', ut de maner' suo de Ardglasse, p sect' cur'.

(42) In that place on the same day
Bernard Ward, who in life, was seised of the town and land of Carrickshanagh alias Castleward in co. Down, containing 100 acres - then being thus seised Bernard died 12 Sept 1584 - Nicholas Ward, his son & heir, was then of full age, and married. The premises are held of the Earl of Kildare out of his manor of Ardglass, by Suit of Court.

[5 Sep 1633]

Margaret Fitz-Simons, nup ux' dict' Christ', adhuc in plen' vita existit, & dotabil' est de pmiss.

[On this day Christ[opher] Russell, late of Ballygallaghan in Co. Down, during his life was seised of the town and land of Ballygallaghan containing 100 acres, the town and land of Ballivaston containing 100 acres, the town and land of Ballynebert containing 100 acres, the quarter called McCowlis' quarter in Co Downe containing 30 acres. At the time of his death on 22 Jul 1619 his son and heir Ric[chard] Russell was of full age and married. - the premises of Ballygallaghan are held of the King for military services; the towns and lands of Ballyvaston, Ballynebert & McCrowlis' quarter are held from George Earl of Kildare, as is his manor of Ardglass. Margaret Fitz-Simons, married to the said Christopher, is still living, and is gifted from the premises.]

Would you mind confirming if these translations are ok?

What would 'Suit of Court' mean in the Irish context?

I am coming across a few Inquisition Post Mortem that finish with the phrase "p. sect. cur', would anyone be kind enough to explain, please? Is it "by suit of court"?
Thank you

Christopher - where did your Francis Casement hail from? Is he connected to the Comber Casements? Is he from a line with the name Francis and if so is Andrew also a family name?
