I am from UK originally and married a Kiwi. Frank Ranger, the son of Thomas Gray. Here's hoping????

Re Fox/Austin/Austen Family
They originate from Kent-Dover and Ramsgate as far as I can tell. I think there may be a connection with the sea.
My connection is through my great grandfather on my mother's  side whose sister married Stephen Austin/Austen  Fox. They had a son Stephen Trevanion Fox, and I have a great uncle named Trevanion Stephen Sheppard after him.
If you wish to see my tree and info on family please let me know-otherwise the IGI is the best freely available source for researching family.
