hi there, marriage on old parish reg. two entries so i think one in each parish for bride and groom i only looked at grooms.info thats thereis
by the reverend hugh hart married in a house in sugar house lane, john davidson seaman, married margaret young, daughter of william young joiner
in the parish of old machar in presence of these witnesses john forbes and james watt householders. thats all the info on it. i copied it if you want me to send it send me a p.m. with your email.

hi there, just seen john`s reply and was wondering why the 1871 census had them at the address you gave, but stated all but thomas were born in ireland, i have copied the census if you pm me i will send to you. found the first baby bridgets death on scotlands people, she was 17months old and died from whooping cough. mothers name on cert was kellachan, but as john said before varying spellings.

hello again, i looked on scotlands people and can`t find them anywhere in
1861 censuc, but they are on 1871 census. at king street. michael 34, bridget
36, mary 12, patrick 8, michael 6, bridget 3, all born in ireland so do not think
they were here in 1861, thomas is 8 months old and says born lanarkshire, but the only thomas i could find did not have these parents. sorry ran out of credits but i hope this helps.

as far as i know the numbers are for reference so you can order a copy
from registry house. its from the old parish register so does not have any more info, than what i gave you. happy digging,  irene.

hi there jim, sorry to say can`t find them in 1861 tried a few choices but none that matched. lots of elliots but not a lot from glasgow, ran out of creds. will have another look for you in a few days when i can get some creds.ok cheers irene
