Hi,

I also have Henry, sadly no parents details, died Jan 1890, married to Rebecca Grange in 1836 and went on to have Jane in 1833, Henry 1840 and William in 1845...Does this help at all?

Marriage was 25/7/1836, if you can get a copy of the certificate you should get your answer.

Regards

Alison

Hi all,

My Reynolds family are all from Pertenhall form any generations.

William Wrighton married both Elizabeth Gell and Emma Reynolds. The children were all with Emma Reynolds ( Arthur, Louisa, Agnes and Charles)

This Emma Reynolds was daughter of John Renholds (1805 - 1872) and Mary Garvey (1806 - 1850)

Emma had siblings Eliza, Joseph, Ann ( all older) and Mary, Sarah and Elizabeth (younger)

John Renholds was son of John Renholds b. 1777 and Elizabeth Tandy 1778 - 1815.

John (1777) was son of William Reynolds (1752 - 1807) and Susannah Maycock (1752 - 1793)

I can go further back if you need it.

Hi.

Not been on here for a while but picked up on your link to Pertenhall and noted the link to the Reynolds.

What is your relationship- my Grandad was a Reynolds.

Thanks for all your replies.

The correct marriage is the one in Warwick with Alice Loveridge in 1898, Neither Alice nor their first daughter Naomi born in 1900 appear in the 1901 census at all, but as Alice and her family were travellers that is very possible.

George White that Joe was living with in the 1901 census was married to Rebecca Loveridge, an Aunt of Alice. So this seems to tie up although it says he's single.

As these are my husbands direct family I do have the certificates.

The marriage certificate of joseph and Alice was 2/11/1898 in Registry office in Warwick. Witnesses were Richard Loveridge and Mary Ann Birt.

I will try births for Bird though- thanks I'd not thought of that one.

I believe there were also welsh relatives Arranroots

Completed Northamptonshire Lookup Requests / Joseph Birt/Burt of Byfield,Northants
« on: Sunday 14 December 08 21:38 GMT (UK)  »
Hi i'm looking for the ancestors of Joe Burt.

Joseph married Alice Loveridge in Warwick in 1898. The then lived in Lutterworth and Market Harborough area.

I'm trying to trace joe's Mum and Dad but my line has gone cold. In the 1891 census he was living with his Uncle William Thornton in Byfield aged 11. Making his dob c 1880.

This would mean his Mum was either Ann, Elizabeth or Sarah Thornton- Williams sisters.

I have the family form Joe and Alice to now. I have alice's family back to 1760 but I can't trace Joe.

Can anyone help?

My Gt Grandad was a Belgian Jewish soldier.

Any ideas on a good website in Belgium I can use to research that side of my family?
