I know its a shot in the dark...but any chance of someone looking up the marriage between  Robert Cecil Smylie and a lady called Ruby....turns out he was a ww2 hero so I'm guessing he married in the 30/40/50's...Just because of the names I thought that it might make it a wee bit easier!

Cheers for the quick reply...a friend sent me a link to the death on ancestry...he was originally from Northern Ireland....although he died in Manchester he may or may not be buried there!...

Can anyone help me out here...I'm looking for the final resting place of John Patrick Toland who passed away in November 1987. I know that he died in Manchester....looks like I might have to phone around the cemeteries etc ..

Can anyone help me find the date of a marriage of a man called O'Grady.He married at Bessbrook Church, in 1944.....any help gratefully received as it would save me an age going through the local papers!

that's fantastic....through this forum I managed to get a pic of the memorial marker. Can anyone suggest a way I can order his death certificate to see his cause of death?
