Hello Sandra,

Sorry, I am not familiar with the name Mary Jane Kirkwood.  Don't think I have seen any "Marys" at all in my tree.

Ray.

Togs1,

Not a longshot at all.  Your Agnes who married David Greig is the oldest daughter of Alexander Kirkwood, born 1815.  Alexander is the brother of my line, Charles who was born in 1804.  Please contact me on (*).  I have started a Kirkwood email group and can fill you in further when you contact me.

Ray Feeney.

Hello Izabel,
Sorry, new to this game, could not see how to "PM" you.  My daughter tells me that means Personal Message, but could not find a function on your profile.  My email address is (*) if you wish to contact that way.  Interested to know the connection.

Ray.

Looking for information on the Kirkwood families from Kilmalcolm and surrounding areas.  My Kirkwoods were all mostly stonemasons and my direct line Charles migrated to Australia in 1838.  Interested in any registers of stonemasons or of any buildings they may have worked on.  They seem to have moved to Greenock some time around 1840's.  Any information appreciated.
