Thank you General Dogsbody!

None of the listed are part of my research, but may be now...

I leave this as an open inquiry if someone may have info on Redgrave burials.

Hi,
Looking for a Monument Inscription lookup please for the above in specifically the Caputh Churchyard. They were married in 1848 at this church, birth and passing dates unknown.

If other info may exist, please don't hold back!

Thank You from Texas!

Respectfully, the Ancestry Phone Book listings have been studied.
The listing, as Helen W Pryde is a resident of Forfar, Angus.

Scotland / Helen Watt Pryde - McFlannel
« on: Wednesday 31 March 10 20:38 BST (UK)  »
Kindly seeking info on Helen W Pryde, writer of the radio play and seven books entitled "The McFlannels" which were the kind and funny stories of a Glasgow family. The radio play apparently started in 1939, books were written after WWII.
It is rumored that she lived in Laurencekirk, Kincardineshire/Aberdeenshire. There appears to be references to a Mrs Helen W Pryde in the time period on Ancestry.Co.UK in old phone books but I don't have a subscription.
The objective is Biographical info on Helen, as nothing published seems to be out there... Don't know if she is still around.

Thank you taking the time to read this!

Durham Lookup Requests / Emily "Elsie" Oliver of Darlington M/D Lookup request
« on: Monday 07 September 09 21:16 BST (UK)  »
Seeking information on Emily "Elsie" Oliver in the form of marriage and death info. Have scoured a variety of sources without much luck.
Elsie was christened at St Paul in Darlington on 14 OCT 1874, the daughter of James Clapham and Elizabeth Oliver. In 1881 they lived at 18 North Road in Darlington. Many of the family are interred at West Darlington Cemetery.
This question is prompted by the finding of a Christmas gift (a book) that was given to her by Vicar Edmond Hutchinson of St Paul in 1885 and the remote possibility a family member might be interested in it.

Fife / Re: John Hastie of Portmoak, Scotlandwell
« on: Monday 06 July 09 05:40 BST (UK)  »
John Hastie b 1839 Monimail married Agnes Dowie (b 1838 Rathillet d 23 Dec 1905 St Andrews), d in 07 Jul 1914 Portmoak, Scotlandwell, by Registry document. In writing this, St. Andrews has not been thoroughly reviewed for burials. It is evident that they traveled across Fife a bit, making this more of a challenge.

Census:
1871: Monimail
1891: Cupar

John's children:
William Dowie Hastie b Monimail 09 Jun 1863 d 22 Jun 1942 Falkland 1866 Cupar, burial known. He was a gamekeeper and frequented the Falkland Estate.
David b 1866 Cupar, no further info.
John b 1866 Cupar, no further info.

John was the son of William Hastie (19 Jan 1800- 04 May 1878 Dunbog) and Boswell Young (b 07 Sep 1800, Blinkbonny, Abdie, d 27 Nov 1872 Collairnie (near Dunbog.)) William's occupation was ploughman until his latter days when served as Sexton/Beadle at Dunbog Church. He passed in the Dunbog Schoolhouse which was also the Beadle's home. The current retired Beadle of the now disused Dunbog Church did not have info on William. Researching this physically, it appears that this building is in the modern day hamlet of Glenduckie, which is in site of Dunbog. William married Boswell Young in Auchtermuchty 07 Jun 1822. William or Boswell's burials have not been located and are of interest. The wonderful Norrie does not have records of these.

Thank You for your attention on this!

Joel
