Lincolnshire Lookup Requests / Re: Death look-up SAUNDERS 1980s
« on: Sunday 24 July 22 20:37 BST (UK)  »
No he was in a care home and unwell. He was not the one that died 1991. I've come across that, but it has the wrong birth and he died before then.

Lincolnshire Lookup Requests / Death look-up SAUNDERS 1980s
« on: Sunday 24 July 22 20:02 BST (UK)  »
I am really stuck trying to find a death certificate for a Peter Philip Saunders (my great uncle). He died in Hogsthorpe, Lincolnshire no later than 1989, but we think 1985-88. He was born September 1923, but I can find nothing on FreeBMD, ancestry, etc. Can anyone help at all please?

Essex Lookup Requests / Saunders at Leigh-on-Sea 1930s Directory?
« on: Monday 27 June 22 21:03 BST (UK)  »
Wondering if someone is able to do a look-up for me please.

I am looking for Ethel Maud Saunders (and husband William) in Leigh on Sea in the 1930s. It would be 1935-1940. I know they lived at the Gardens at one point (possibly 18 or 15?), and at Woodleigh avenue in the 1939 census.

Apparently Ethel ran a b&b. Is anyone able to find them in any directories?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you both for your responses. Will keep in mind about the one in Herne Bay and check out the resources at FamilySearch.

I am looking for a Mrs Goodwin who was some sort of Landlady/Lodging House keeper, or something to that effect. Would have been in the 1920s c1924/26? Ramsgate. If someone is able to find her in a directory that would be great, thank you in advance.

It states Banns on the register, and Henry was only an agricultural labourer; I don't think they would have been a position to afford a licence. Thank you for the suggestion, though.
