Lily Myrtle Mabel Southee is my mother's step-sister. Lily is the daughter of Alfred John Southee and Matilda Ann Simpson, married 15 Aug 1899 in Wellington, New Zealand. This marriage did not work out and they were divorced on 5 Mar 1913. They had two children Lily Myrtle Mabel, b. c1901 in New Zealand and Alfred David Southee, b. 1 Apr 1912 in Upper Hutt, New Zealand and died c1912 Upper Hutt, New Zealand.
Alfred Southee remarried to a Sara Southee on 16 Apr 1913 and then immigrated to Stanthorpe, Queensland, Australia leaving Lily Myrtle Mabel behind in New Zealand with her mother, Matilda. Does onyone have any information on what became of Lily?
