Hi Again Ladyhawk,
Frank does not appear on any of the census's but on the 1911 one it records 11 children born alive and 1 died i can account for 10 but not Frank?
the family are from Penarth unless he was born and died between census's

Glamorganshire Lookup Requests / Marriage & Death
« on: Friday 08 October 10 09:00 BST (UK)  »
Hi,
I am trying to find the Marriage of a C J Midlane and a Betha James CJ Midlane was a Captain i think in the merchant Navy.
also the death  of a Frank James from Penarth mother Mary, Father Evan he probably died age 12mths or earlier.
now he doesn't appear on any of the census for the family and on the 1911 census it states that there were 11 children born alive but only 10 are listed on the 1911 census and Frank being the missing one.
Thanks for any help on this
                         Dave
