Hi Mosstrooper,

Thank you for this information.  It has made me think of the marriage cert in 1856, which was in Linlithgow.  When I spoke with the lady at West Lothian Cemetries yesterday, she suggested that there would have been no difference as to whether the person was RC or Church of Scotland and that all would have been buried together, but I am not sure about this.  I will have a wee look at the information you have sent me.

Hello RC's,

Can anyone advise me where to look for a cemetrey in Uphall.  Uphall I have been advised was not opened until 1893.  I am looking for a grave in 1874  in the Uphall area.

HI There,

Thanks for your info and yes you must be related to each other.  I am having a problem with my computer at home just now and have to buy an new one next week.  There is al;so a cousin outside London which I have contact with and I am sure that she will be delighted to hear that we have anoither cousin and may be able to share information.  This is the first that we have heard of them coming fom Sligo, as no one  here had any idea.  I willbe back in touch but you can PM me on my work computer, which is the one I am responding from at the moment.
