I dont know the Surname of Robert Pidgleys wife, my Mother in Law's Mother was a Pidgley and we have been trying to piece together the ancestory. They are notoriously difficult to trace .

There is in fact a large Army presence in the Selborne area . Namely the Bordon and Longmoor Camps . These have been active  for generations . Many Soldiers from there have married local girls

Dont know if its any help but Castle is a Traveller name in Hampshire . It might be an idea to try some Gypsy sites, . My inlaws are Castles from Fordingbridge area , they often took their Mothers Maiden name , so can be very confusing

Richard Jones is also my Gr Gr Grandfather through Rose Jones his eldest daughter , any info on the family would be geatefully recieved . I have a copy of the book but do not read any Welsh.

I am the Granddaughter of William Owen Davies, son of Rose Jones of Henfache . I am trying to grow   a family tree. Any info regarding Henfache woyld be appreciated.
