Nigel - I am descended from Ebenezer Richards, youngest(?) son of William Richards, Cwmbyr. He married Margaret Thomas of Coedhirion. I have noted with interest the details included in this thread with regard to William's father, William Richards Melinwaun. Do you have any other details other than those included in this thread which you would be able to share? Diolch.

Ambers - I am descended from Thomas Jones Davies' younger brother, John. I had already discovered the details about their parents included in this message thread but am wondering whether you had discovered any further details about the Davies and Jones families since the last posting which you could share with me. Interestingly, I note from another thread started by you that Thomas eventually ended up in Philadelphia. My mother, who is Thomas' great niece, knew that he had gone abroad but believed it was to Canada rather than the USA.
