Why does the start of this thread say it is available on family search pilot

Thursday 22 January 09 22:07 GMT

"This is now online (no images) at the LDS Pilot site Recordsearch
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=0
Found some of mine already
Just a partial transcript (no occupations, but it's good)

Bob "

Hi All

I can't seem to find the 1916 Census of Manitoba, Alberta and Saskatchewan on the family search pilot site, I am looking for Leslie Artiss and his wife Ann who show up on Ancestry( no worldwide sub) as Artiss Leslie and Artiss Ann.

What am I doing wrong ?

Mike

Looking at his military papers he was discharged at Fermoy in1865.
So that's where his regiment was

His daughter Elizabeth Sarah Jane born 1853/4 in the 1881 census onwards is a nun/teacher in convent in Stow Hill, Newport, Monouthshire giving her birth place as Cork, Ireland (I don't have any details of her birth/baptism) His wife Sarah Jane gives here place of birth as Armagh Crafen, Ireland in the 1881 census for Wales.

They were catholics and George King was in the 47th then 49th Regiment of Foot in Ireland from 1844 until 1954  when they went off to the Crimea

Hi

I have had all his military papers for a number of years.

It show cork registration but all the other entries show a church these two don't .
What does that mean .
Is it possible to see actual images of the indexes? not just the family search results

George King was in the army in Ireland from 1844 to mid 1850's when his regiment went of to the Crimea .He and his wife Sarah Jane had a daughter Elizabeth Sarah Jane King; in all the censuses from 1871 she give a birth date of 1854 and a birth Country of Ireland and a  birth Country of Ireland and a place of Cork in two of them.

In beta.family search I have come up with a marriage for George King in the Irish Civil Registration Indexes Cork 1853 Vol 4 Page 491

Searching for Sarah Jane I come up with Sarah Jane Meyers Cork 1853 Vol 4 Page 564

Is this the same marriage, I can't see images of the indexes.

Where do I go from here?
