Hi,
I have a website dedicated to the name - may help you quite a bit. It is the process of being updated but the info is still worth looking at.

Hi Liz,
I think we are tracing the same line and that we have chatted before. Since our last contact I have received the marriage certificate for John Miller and Rosina Lyons. They married 28 Nov 1852 in St George the Martyr Church, Southwark Surrey.

John Miller - 21yrs - bachelor - sweep - of Gibralter Row - father Charles Miller - Shoemaker
Rosina Lyons - 19 years - spinster - of Gibralter Row, father William Lyons - Shoemaker.

I can find them all in the 1861 - 1901 census however I cannot match their names, ages and occucaption unless they changed. I have searched 1841 census and 1851 census but have hit a brick wall. Hope this helps confirm the father's name for you.

Best Regards

Melanie
