I don't think they are the same, I presume you meant Ballyheane rather than Balltheane.

This area is located roughly 4-6 miles outside Castlebar on the otherside, near the famous Ballintuber Abbey.

Hello

I am trying to find out the parents of James Reaney of Chancery, ballyvary, Mayo.

He married Honor Fitzstephens ( Born 1846 ) at Balla Church in 1869. Father Patt and mother Margaret.

They had one son named Patt Reaney, only child born 1871. He remained in Chancery and had 10 children.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My Great grandmother was Roache from the Parke area. We still live here. There are many Roaches located in Treen, Derryhick and the surrounding areas.
