Some wonderful members have very kindly restored photos for me in the past, for which I'm eternally grateful.
I have a damaged photo of my Mum, taken either just before or during World War 2. I'd love it if some kind soul could remove the creases and tidy her up just a little!

And thanks also to DOB7 - I have a strong feeling that Thomas and Susanna could well be Gertrude's parents, but without the evidence, I can't be sure......The burial info is great!

I have reached a brick wall with Gertrude Tardrew, who was my 4 x great grandmother, and would be grateful if anyone can help me go back a little further!

From the IGI, I know that she married John Heddon at Parkham on 11 Oct 1765, and that she was born circa 1744 in Parkham. This is also confirmed on the website www.archive.org. Although I have found several Tardrews living in and around Parkham (other spellings include Tardrue, Terdrew, Tirdrew) I can find nothing to indicate a birth record for Gertrude.

Any help would be most gratefully received.
