Armagh / Re: Felix Crawley

Thank You,  I will check out the links.  I haven't found too many other Crawleys in the area.  And have only managed to get the 1837 registration of their marraige.  I will have to invest in a copy of the certificate.

Thank you for the suggestions and links.

HI

I have a brick wall and wonder if anyone can help.  My Felix J Crawley lived and died in Canterbury Kent England.  However it says on a census records that he was born in County Armagh, another just says Ireland and another Newry, Armagh.
I have him from his marraige 1st Quarter of 1872 but no trace of him prior to this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

HI All

I am trying to find Harriett's family,  she married Edward in the 3rd quarter of 1899 in Islington and ends up eventually in Canterbury Kent.  I have them in 1911census and 1939 register.  Her register of death gives her birth as 14 July 1881 but I cannot find any parish record for a baptism.  She died in Canterbury Kent in the first quarter of 1971.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hello

I wonder if anyone is able to help.  I have come across a young girl Edith Crawley aged 13 in the 1891 census that was separated from her family in Canterbury Kent andlisted as an inmate.  It seems a very long way to be sent,  her mother and younger sister are in the Workhouse in Canterbury.

Can anyone please give me any info on this place which may explain the reason she was sent here?

Thank you in advance.

Warwickshire / Help to find a birth/Baptism please.

Hi I've got a little brick wall I could do with some help with, if at all possible.

I have a Dorothy Violet Kennett born 1908 in Canterbury kent.  I know she had a son Gordon Brown or Browne.  I have to date been unable to find any record of a marriage for her to a Brown/e.  Or a birth record for Gordon.

I have just found out that it's possible Gordon was born out of wedlock, and have tonight found a registration of a birth for...

Gordon R Browne in Birmingham Warwickshire
Mothers name Kennett
Vol 6d Pge 817

It is a long shot, but other than ordering the birth certificate can anyone help me to spread any light on this.

Any help would be very much apreciated.

Thanks in advance
Trace
