I believe the Bucklands and the Lees were related on the Romany side and of course were 'well travelled'.  If you think it would help I could let you have anything on the Bucklands that I have.

Also had grandad in Oxford and Bucks and as Bucksgirl says there was a TA barracks in Suffield and I know that the 1st/Ist Oxford and Bucks was a territorial unit.

Do you know if any of your Bucklands were from Romany stock.  I have lots of Bucklands moving around Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
