Armed Forces / 20th Rgt foot Bermuda 1840s

I have an ancestor, William Gates pte 1750 (previous no. 55919?) b1817 Stanford Rivers, Essex who enlisted into the 20th foot 1838 Chelmsford and spent some years in Bermuda before transferring to the Royal Canadian Rifles in 1851.

I am looking for information on James Playle of the 20th foot who supposedly married a Fanny Frances Gillespie and had a daughter born in Bermuda 1844. 

There are lots of dna matches to descendants of these Playles so I am looking to confirm some information about this James Playle in the military.  It is an uncommon surname but does appear in the Stanford Rivers area.  I can’t see any discharge document, is there anything else I can check does anybody know please?

Lcpl George Cooke 500 Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders b.1891 discharged to pension 28 Mar 1919 whilst living Wishaw, Glasgow.  I have the pension record ledger entry which also mentions 6747 Sco. Rifles but that’s all I can find, nothing prior to this date for certain or anything else regarding his time in the military.  I’m assuming he spent some time abroad as malaria is mentioned?  Any help appreciated thanks!

I am looking for a baptism of Fanny/Frances Gammon bc1796 Petersfield.  She married James Hall in Buriton 1817 and one of the witnesses (from a transcript) was Caroline Gammon.  Fanny may well have been the daughter of William Gaman/Gamman/Gammon and Sarah Stacey who married Froxfield but I can't be sure.   Thankyou.

Does anybody have a Reuben EAS(T)ON bc1776-1786 Bexhill apart from the one baptised 1776 fitting into their family?  I thought I had a baptism for him years ago but now can't find it (married Ann in Hastings) :(

Elizabeth POYSER b1778 Blore was my ancestor.  She married William Horn at St George Hanover Square, London 1799 :)

In 1798 a "Mr?" HAMMOND was the occupier of "land" owned by Nich's NICHOLAS in Marden (land tax).
