Hi Marrie.
Just found your post.
I am from the Varney family and have extensively researched them. My grandmother was Agnes Jane Varney, related to virtually all the Varneys in Scotland as they originated from Buckinghamshire. Migrated to Scotland about 1850.
Let me know if you would like any info on them.

We are related. My 4th great grandparents were John Ritchie and Jane McHowal (various spellings). My third great grandfather, their son, was Robert who married Margaret McQueen. I think I only have the same info as you bit you may like to see my tree on Tribal Pages. I don't know whether you can hide your email address on here but if you can find a way to do it, then I can send you an invitation to see my tree.
