I have a Le Prevost family of Guernsey group on Facebook..it is informal and global...I know that Jane Victoria ..was the daughter of Thomas who was sibling with my ancestor Charles Le Prevost..both born in Guernsey,,,I also have a lot of Le Prevost and associated families  genealogy..
  Nicolas Le Prevost ..British actor is from a Le Prevost /Robin tree

The Le prevost family goes back for hundreds of years in Guernsey ..possibly to the 900's ..there are some records ...

There was a Littlefield and Snell butchers in Guernsey for many years..there is a Huriaux  in St.Martins parish and a Rue des Huriaux in St Saviours //

All Guernsey Le Prevost that I know of are Le Prevost ..but has often been misspelt to Le Provost..especially outside of Guernsey..there is a Le Prevost tree on Donkipedia ..and i have lots of genealogy of this family back into the 1600's stemming from 2 branches of the same family....I would be interested to have his ancestry ..there is a Le Prevost family group on Facebook that I began earlier this year... Church square and Market square are only steps away from each other..,there were buildings at the side of Town church which were knocked down  in the early 1900's ..so it may have been a lane in that area ...it is now the beginning of Fountain st.

I am a guernsey person..and never heard of de Guernsey....yet there are de Jersey's  in the Channel Islands.
I did see a  person named Guillaume de Guernesy (that would be William of Guernsey)from the crew list sailing with Cartier to ?Canada...

Mill Street comes in at the end of the market. so it is likely to be one of the tiny lanes off mills st.
